Life Balance Pilates General Terms & Conditions

  1. In booking a class or treatment at Life Balance Pilates you agree to the terms and conditions as outlined herein.
  2. Prior to your first class or treatment you will be required to submit a questionnaire and provide Life Balance Pilates with details in regard to your general health and wellbeing in addition to some basic personal information.
  3. It is your responsibility to determine, through obtaining appropriate medical advice, that you are fit and well and that such contents and services are suitable for you. It is not our responsibility to do so. Before commencing any exercise regime, you should consult your doctor. It is vital that you supply us with the correct information about yourself. We cannot be liable for any incorrect information supplied by you to us.
  4. It is the responsibility of the client to inform their instructor/therapist prior to a class/treatment commencing whether they are pregnant or have any relevant injuries, medical issues or complications which might impact on their health and wellbeing.
  5. Advance payment is required to attend a class.
  6. When attending a class, please arrive early, so as not to disrupt the class.
  7. If you happen to be delayed for your appointment, we can only do our best with the time remaining provided there is enough time to start. If not, we can allocate the next slot available to you. This policy is put in place to respect the next client who is booked in after.
  8. Life Balance Pilates reserves the right to refuse entry to classes.
  9. Life Balance Pilates is not responsible for the safekeeping of your belongings.
  10. Excluding water as required for a class, clients are not permitted to bring any food or drinks into the studio.
  11. The use of cameras or recording equipment of any form is strictly forbidden unless consent is given by all those present. No mobile phones or tablets should be brought into the studio. Any devices which are required to be brought in should be placed on silent.
  12. All classes which have commenced or part used packages are final and non-refundable. Life Balance Pilates does not offer refunds on services for change of mind, user error, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason.
  13. All classes and bundles are non-transferable and may not be shared. They are for the sole use of the purchaser.
  14. Individual bundles are valid for 6 months from the purchase date.
  15. If a treatment needs to be cancelled, please give us 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Should we receive a cancellation within that 24 hour period, a fee of 50% of the treatment will be charged.
  16. Cancellation for classes must be made via the online booking system or by phone up to 24 hours before a class without penalty. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within this cancellation period you will be charged for the class.
  17. Please late cancel if you are unable to attend a class to make your place available to others out of courtesy.
  18. Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as scheduled in the class timetable. However, Life Balance Pilates reserves its right to alter the timetable or instructors as a result of circumstances beyond its control. The class schedule is subject to change or cancellation without notice.
  19. Life Balance Pilates is not liable to refund or to offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason. Classes which are cancelled by Life Balance Pilates may be transferred by clients to alternative classes.

Class Bundles (10 Class Bundle Packages)

  1. In acquiring a class bundle you agree to the specific terms and conditions as outlined here, in addition to the general terms above. This agreement commences once you have indicated your acceptance in the declaration section of the web registration process.
  2. Bundles must be purchased by an upfront payment. The bundle cannot be activated prior to full payment.
  3. All class bundles expire 6 months from the activation of the bundle. The activation date is the date of the first class booked or attended on the bundle.
  4. No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered on unused portions of passes due to illness, user error, injury, change of address or any other reason.
  5. Cancellation of individual classes must be made via the online booking system or by phone up to 24 hours before a class. If you do not attend a booked session or cancel within the cancellation window you will be charged for the class and deemed to have attended.
